EMMA STEWART

CHAMPION horsewoman Emma Stewart continued her Vicbred Super Series dominance while also creating another slice of history in Melton last night.

Making the futurity her own pet project for almost a decade, Stewart won 15 of the 21 two, three and four-year-old heats during the past few weeks.

Stewart's haul includes an incredible clean sweep of the eight three-year-old heats in Kilmore, which saw her become just the second trainer to win every race on a card.

Moving on to last week's second round, Stewart was successful in nine of the 11 semis in which she had a runner, which equalled her Australian record for the most wins at a meeting!

Just to highlight the numbers further, since 2018 Stewart's remarkable Vicbred performances have seen her win 140 of the 218 pacing qualifiers in which she has had a runner.

As for her latest Vicbred blitz, Stewart became the first trainer to complete a clean sweep of the six pacing Finals.

Stewart has gone close twice, winning five in 2018 and '19.

On top of her sextet, Stewart's stock were the first seven home in the three-year-old fillies' Final, first five across the finish in the  three-year-old colts' and geldings' decider and first four home in the Final for two-year-old colts and geldings.

Stewart also prepared two quinellas and a third in the Final for four-year-old trotting mares.

Heza Punk Rocker, Miki To Success, Ivseenheavenslight, Always Hot, Showsomejoy and Sweet Bella were Stewart's winners.

"What an amazing night," Stewart said. "I couldn't be more ecstatic about the results, especially for our owners.

"We had a big team in and felt they all had winning chances with the right run, and as it turned out, everything went perfectly for the stable."
