Match in Heaven

FORMER Australian pacer Match In Heaven proved too slick during last night’s Harrington program.

Driven by in-form reinsman Art Stafford junior, Match In Heaven was caught in a pocket as JJ Flynn set the pace until deep in the stretch.

Match In Heaven emerged with ample pace and drew clear for a length score. Q's Cruise finished third.

Covering the mile in 1:52.3, the son of Somebeachsomewhere has two of his three starts since arriving from ‘Down Under’.

Trained by Kevin Lare, Match In Heaven has 24 wins from 88 starts for a bankroll of more than $250,000.

Montrell Teague had 5 wins on the card.

Tony Morgan had a double.
