Australian Group One winner extends USA winning streak
DUAL Australian Group One winner Let It Ride extended his winning streak with an impressive performance at Miami Valley Raceway yesterday.
Covering the mile in 1:50, Let It Ride stretched his sequence to five.
With Dan Noble holding the reins, Let It Ride was settled midfield as Incredible Man led and Saulsbrook Genesis worked on his outside in an opening quarter of 27.1 seconds.
Sent forward to find the front during the middle stages, the son of Rock N Roll Heaven completed a two-and-a-half length win from Velocity Poprocks, with Incredible Man a length away third.
Trained by Michael Hitchcock for owners William Hartt and Enzed Racing Stable, Let It Ride's success was his seventh for the year.
During his Australian career the 10-year-old was prepared by Tim Butt to capture the 2018 Group One New South Wales Breeders' Challenge Final at Club Menangle and the Group One Blacks A Fake at Albion Park two starts later.
