Carnival Of Miracles revamped

Carnival Of Miracles revamped
Club Menangle features changes

CLUB Menangle has hit the 'refresh button' on its iconic Sky Racing Carnival of Miracles, with a shortened Carnival to take centre stage throughout the first two weeks of March 2024 followed by another feature race date running on the first Saturday in May.

This change sees the Sky Racing Carnival of Miracles shortened from three weeks to two weeks and commencing two weeks later than past schedules.

The Sky Racing Carnival of Miracles Night One Saturday, March 2, will feature the Cordina Chicken Farms Chariots of Fire, Miracle Mile Sprint Qualifiers (Allied Express Sprint and Schweppes Sprint) and Heats of the NSW Derby.

Night Two of the Sky Racing Carnival of Miracles will see the Garrards Miracle Mile run a week later than previous years, with the $1 million event headlining the program on Saturday, March 9. Other races on the card include the NSW Derby, Ainsworth Australian Light Horse FFA, Hammerhead Trotters Mile, Shaw & Mason Sapling Stakes, Raith Memorial, Baby Bling Mares, Condell Park Produce Waratah Final and the Bubba Gump Pest Control FFA.

Our new feature race night, to be held on Saturday, May 4, will heavily lean towards a predominately Fillies and Mares programmed race schedule to coincide with our successful Pacing For Pink month. This race meeting will feature the Pryde’s Easifeed Queen Elizabeth II Mile, John Gibson Memorial NSW Oaks, Macarthur Mile Trotting Mares, NSW Trotters Oaks, Allied Express Pink Bonnet and Tanyia Harris OAM Lady Drivers.

These feature race dates are to move with the change of racing season to better suit Fillies and Mares that may have been impacted by feature carnival races run later into the previous year.
