Death and taxes aren't the only certainties
NAOMI KERR

WE'RE told there are only two certainties in life - death and taxes - well, for this weekend at least, you can add a third!

That certainty is Naomi Kerr will win race four in Cobram on Sunday.

While that may initially sound like a crystal ball prediction, the answer is a lot more simple...Kerr trains every runner in the race.

A field of eight stablemates will compete over 1750 metres, with Prioritise listed as a $1.90 favourite despite being the only one drawn along the second row.

"I originally had them all nominated for Broken Hill, but that meeting didn't hold up," Kerr said. "I only got an answer about that meeting being cancelled 10 minutes before Swan Hill nominations closed.

"The race they are in at Swan Hill wouldn't have stood up if we'd gone to Broken Hill.

"Having every runner in a field will be different, that's for sure."

To be driven by champion horsewoman Kerryn Manning, Prioritise is chasing his fourth consecutive victory.

Despite his rich vein of form, Kerr selected Go Away Again as her top pick from barrier four.

With Lochie Cook to take the reins, Go Away Again is the second elect at $2.80.

"Each can win with the right run, but on his work and form, I'd go with Go Away Again," Kerr said.

In what shapes as a busy day, Kerr also has three entrants in Cobram during the afternoon, including United and Modern Ginger in the Pacing Cup.

"They've drawn the second row and will need luck," Kerr said. "If they do get that luck, they can certainly win."
