Dominance spread across three states
CHAMPION horsewoman Emma Stewart spread her dominance across three states last night.
Stewart had runners engaged in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania, with her stable registering wins in each region.
Scoring a double with Fox Dan and Humour Me close to home in Melton, Stewart prepared Hungry Hippo to prevail in Hobart.
Further north, the record-breaking trainer notched a treble at Club Menangle via War Dan Buddy, Sir Jimmy and Go Miki.
Overall, Stewart had 12 starters for the evening for five wins, four thirds and a fourth.
One of Stewart's Club Menangle placegetters was The Eureka favourite, Bay Of Biscay.
"We had a pretty good night," Stewart said. "It was a far effort logistically, but well worth it.
"We felt each of them had solid chances and they all ran good races."
War Dan Buddy opened Stewart's Menangle account by leading throughout in 1:50.5 over a mile to break his maiden at his fifth start of the season.
Sir Jimmy then matched his stablemate when he accounted for Bandit Eyes and Chicago Bart in 1:52.6 over a mile.
Go Miki completed a running double with his 1:51.9 victory over Captain Bart and Sao Paulo Simba.
Successful at his last three starts, Go Miki boasts an impressive record of five wins and three seconds from nine outings.
War Dan Buddy, Sir Jimmy, Go Miki and Fox Dan are also eligible for the $2.1million The Eureka slot race on September 6.
