Elvis ready to rock 'n' roll
CONNECTIONS of promising youngster Pick Up Elvis hope he can keep his rivals 'all shook up' this weekend.
Showing tremendous potential this campaign, Pick Up Elvis is undefeated from four starts for the term.
"He has come up a treat this time in," trainer Aaron Dunn said. "I gave him one start last season and he blew it, but he has been putting it together really well this season.
"I couldn't ask for more from him!"
In what shapes as an interesting test for the son of Rock N Roll Heaven, he will step up in grade in Melton on Saturday night.
Despite the tougher assignment, and awkward draw, Dunn is confident Pick Up Elvis will be competitive.
"It's definitely a stronger field on Saturday night," Dunn said. "Add barrier five to that and he will certainly be tested.
"I've got no doubt he will let them know he is there, but I wouldn't go as far as saying he is a good thing.
"Storms Collide is obviously the one to beat, so how we measure up against him will be interesting."
