Exceptionally-bred freshman remains undefeated
ITS CONFIDENTIAL

UNDEFEATED freshman Its Confidential will need to live up to every bit of his breeding during his next start according to trainer Russell Jack.

Bred to a superstar, Its Confidential has been victorious during his three outings, including at Club Menangle yesterday.

It is the two-year-old's latest performance, however, which has caused headaches for connections.

Although Its Confidential emerged triumphant in a Nutrien Equine Sale Series heat, his manners have made his task in next week's Melton-based Final "extremely difficult".

"He did plenty wrong, which is going to come back at him in the Final," Jack said. "He's out of the draw now, so it is going to be extremely difficult for him.

"At least he is in it, which is the main thing for now, but we'll have to wait and see how he behaves on the night."

Driven by Jack's son, Nathan, Its Confidential caused a false start before breaking soon after the release point during the second attempt, which saw him settle a conservative 30 metres from the leader, Hezatreacherous.

Forced four-wide around the home turn, the colt reached the front in the last stride to score by a half-head from the pacemaker.

In a 'blanket finish', Go Without was a neck away third in 1:55.4 over a mile.

By multiple Group One winner Poster Boy, Its Confidential is from former star mare - triple Group One winner, Speak No Evil.

"He's bred to be anything and shows a ton of promise, but he's got to keep those manners in check," Jack said.
