LEADING reinsman Wayne Hill admits he was unsure what to do with himself this weekend once the racing program was released.

One of South Australia's most utilised drivers, Hill has an extremely busy 48 hours ahead of him, with one exception...he won't be at the races tomorrow night!

Competing in 10 of the 11 races in Mildura today, Hill will then drive in nine of the 10 events in Gawler on Sunday.

In between, Hill would usually be in action at Globe Derby, or in recent weeks in Port Pirie, of a Saturday night.

"It's a rarity to have a Saturday night off...you almost don't know what to do with yourself," Hill said. "A bunch of us have decided to head to the city to have dinner and a night out, so we're making the most of it.

"I've got a big day driving to Mildura today, then a pretty full card on Sunday, so it'll still be somewhat hectic."

Set to partner "a few solid chances" across the border, Hill declared Wings On The Line in Gawler as his best prospect.

Boasting 10 wins and two placings from 12 starts, Wings On The Line has drawn wide on the second row over 2070 metres.

"Aaron (Bain, trainer) has her low flying," Hill said. "The draw isn't the best, but she just keeps finding a way to win.

"Her best attribute is she is very versatile. She's won by leading, sitting off the pace and doing it tough outside the leader.

"As long as traffic isn't a problem, she is going to be very hard to beat."
