By proving too good in The Bonanza, Miki To Success recieved an automative entry into Australia's premier four-year-old event, which is scheduled to be conducted at Club Menangle on March 1.

First-up for 11 weeks, the Emma Stewart-trained entire rated a brilliant 1:50 over 1720 metres - the second quickest time since the feature's launch in 1974.

With Jackie Barker holding the reins, the son of Always B Miki led throughout to score by four-and-a-half metres from his stablemate, Kingman.

War Dan Buddy completed a Stewart trifecta when three metres away third.

Naturally thrilled with the performance, Stewart is yet to decide where Miki To Success' next outing will be ahead of his interstate campaign.

"That was a terrific run first-up from a break," Stewart said. "His work had been terrific and we expected a pretty forward showing from him.

"He will certainly benefit from that and will need another run before the Chariots.

"Whether that is here or in Sydney we haven't decided, but he'll be at Menangle come Chariots night."
