FORMER New Zealander Dibaba captured last night’s featured $12,000 Mares Open Harrington Raceway.

Driven by Jon Roberts, Dibaba notched her first win of the year with an off the pace triumph over My Last Bet.

Australian-bred mare Ideal Lifestyle was third.

Scuola Hanover set sizzling fractions of 26.1, 54.3, and 1:23.1 before retreating through the stretch.

Dibaba was angled off second-over cover in deep stretch and hit the wire in 1:53.2.

The daughter of Shadow Play is trained by Dylan Davis for owners Robert Cooper, Howard Taylor, J&T Stables and VIP Internet Stable.

Allan Davis had four wins on the program, after landing a treble the night before.
