How much of the total Breeders' Crown prizemoney pool did premier stable win?
AS SHE did throughout the early stages of the futurity, premier trainer Emma Stewart has dominated tonight's Breeders' Crown Finals at Tabcorp Park Melton.
Just to recap, Stewart prepared the winners of 10 of the 13 heats for two and three-year-old pacers, before winning seven of the eight semis.
Another way of looking at it is Stewart won 80.95 per cent of the qualifiers!
Stewart's haul during those rounds includes two trifectas and a quinella, which saw 18 stable representatives progress to the Finals.
The record-breaking horsewoman also had a runner in the two and three-year-old trotting divisions, with both earning a berth in the Group One deciders.
Beginning her night with a victory in the Two-Year-Old Trotting Fillies' Final with Susan Is Her Name, Stewart won four of the six Finals in which she had a runner thanks to Major Delight, Encipher and Captain Ravishing .
Along with her Group One winners, Stewart managed two trifectas.
Tonight's program also included a pair of Four-Year-Old Championships, with Stewart capturing both Group Twos with Ladies In Red and Act Now.
Stewart also secured last night's Breeders' Crown pacing events - Free-For-All and Graduate Cup - filling the quinella in both, and last weekend's Breeders' Crown Mares' Free-For-All.
That means Stewart was triumphant in nine of the Finals, Championships and Free-For-Alls in which she had a runner!
Overall, Stewart won 76.47 per cent of the various Breeders' Crown races she contested.
During the course of the pacing categories $1,510,000 advertised stake was on offer, with Stewart's team earning $933,900.
Again, another way of looking at it, Stewart's squad pocketed 61.8 per cent of the total pacing stake!
Stewart's two trotters earned $54,200 of a possible $200,000 pool, or 27.1 per cent.
