In the black . . . thanks to the 'Pink' - at Club Menangle
PACING For Pink, supporting the McGrath Foundation and their purpose of ensuring that no one goes through cancer without the care of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse, has officially wrapped up for 2025 at Club Menangle with $12,562 raised at the No. 1 track.
Throughout the campaign, which ran from May 1-31, Club Menangle was proud to have turned pink to participate in the Australia-wide campaign.
The venue donated for not only success on the track but also raised funds and awareness at its’ Coutts Pacing For Pink Race Night.
Club Menangle Chief Executive Officer Bruce Christison said: “A fantastic fundraising result for Pacing For Pink has been recorded at Club Menangle with $12,562 raised.
“Our sincere thanks to Coutts Lawyers & Conveyancers, a local Macarthur firm that joined our marquee race night as the event name partner.
“We are also very appreciative of the support we received from all sponsors and attendees at Coutts Pacing For Pink Race Night.
“Congratulations to all our participants here at Club Menangle who helped to make this campaign the success that it was in 2025.”
Across the campaign, Club Menangle continued its donations for on-track success as it did in 2022, 2023 and 2024 and committed to contributing $200 for each win recorded by a driver in the Pink Pants at Club Menangle, $200 for each female training win recorded at Club Menangle and $200 for each win that was recorded by a horse carrying saddlecloth No. 8 at Club Menangle.
Overall a total of 43 ‘pink’ wins were recorded at the track with the Menangle Park-based team of Lucky Lodge leading the count.
KerryAnn Morris trained eight winners throughout the campaign at Club Menangle, while Robert Morris also equalled KerryAnn with eight driving wins.
Pacing For Pink co-ordinator Marg Watson said: “Club Menangle is leading the way in raising awareness for Pacing For Pink.
“Coutts Pacing For Pink Race Night looked fantastic, and the club did a wonderful job with attendees wearing pink right across the track.
“We love that the mini trots also get involved on the night and help raise funds as well.”
On Saturday, May 10, Club Menangle hosted the successful Coutts Pacing For Pink race night which was proudly sponsored by Coutts Lawyers & Conveyancers.

‘A Pink Affair Charity Dinner’ took centre stage on the evening hosted by retired tennis star Casey Dellacqua and also featured guest speakers from the McGrath Foundation, including trainer-driver Ashleigh Delosa and NSW Metropolitan race caller Fred Hastings.
Guests were also pampered by the IconiX team with complimentary hair and makeup touch-ups.
Four group one winners were crowned at Coutts Pacing For Pink with Eye Keep Smiling taking honours in the Pryde's Easifeed Queen Elizabeth II Mile, Cool And Classy in the John Gibson Memorial NSW Oaks, Susan Is Her Name was victorious in the Slingsby Holdings Macarthur Mile and Gatesys Gem in the Haras des Trotteurs NSW Trotters Oaks.
The TAB Tanyia Harris OAM Lady Drivers Invitational also featured on the card with 10 female drivers donning the pink pants lining up in the $25,500 event which was won by Kate Gath aboard the Brian Portelli trained Franco Tyson.
