Lot 107 - A filly by boom sire Downbytheseaside from NSW Oaks winner Courageous Annie (1.52.6, $201K).

Courageous Annie showed promise as a two-year-old but it was at three that she excelled.

She reeled off an exceptional three-year-old campaign, winning 12 of her 13 starts – including the Oaks and the Group Two Nursery Pace at Albion Park.

At stud, she has produced My Ultimate Buddha (1.53.3, $65K), Montana Pride (1.57.5, $60K) and Head Noise (1.56.2, $30K) – all of which were early two-year-old winners.

She is a half-sister to Smart Cullen (1.56.3, $145K) and the dam of Ima Connoisseur (1.53.4, $204K).

This filly is bred on the same cross as Downbytheseaside’s top Australian earner - Aardiebytheseaside (1.53.6, $484K) - which has multiple Group Ones wins to her name.

Both these fillies are by Downbytheseaside from mares by sons of In The Pocket.

Downbytheseaside's second top Australian earner, Coastal Babe (1.56.2, $360K), is also a filly.

Lot 114 - A colt by Huntsville from unraced Christian Cullen mare Laura Madison, dam of iron horse Tulhurst Terror (1.54.8, $211K) and the speedy Sir Regal Delight (1.52.5, $72K).

Laura Madison is a sister to quality mare Just Rockon Bye (1.54.4, $210K) and a half-sister to good free-for-aller Big Dog (1.58.7, $206K).

Their dam, Ok Rock (1.56.1, $168K) was voted NZ 3YO filly of the year in 1999 after winning the two Oaks finals and finishing in the placings in another four.

This is the family of grand circuit campaigner Franco Ledger (1.53.2, $683K) and good youngster Nifty Studleigh (1.53.7, $202K).

Boom US sire Huntsville has sired 83 winners of more than $4million from just one crop of racing age in Australia. They are five-year-olds in 2025.

His next crop will be yearlings in 2025.

He is the sire of Meadowlands Pace winner Legendary Hanover (1.46.4, $900K) in the US this season.

His top earner is Rising Sun winner Wisper A Secret (1.50.7, $455K).

Lot 119 - A colt by first season sire Dancin Lou from speedy mare Maywyn No Regrets (1.56.9, $44K) is a half-brother to 2024 APG Brisbane classic placegetter Heza Maywyn from the family of champion trotting mare La Coocharacha (Tr 1.58.5, $428K).

La Coocharacha has continued to break boundaries throughout her race and breeding careers.

She was pacing bred but became a trot sensation in the early 2000s. She was 2002 Australian and NZ Trotter of the Year and 2020 Australian Trotting Broodmare of the Year.

She has produced 10 winners of $1.5million, including champion filly Dance Craze (Tr 1.55.6, $551K).

Next year will see the first Dancin Lou’s progeny go through the sales ring in Australia.

The son of boom sire Sweet Lou won the Breeders' Crown Final and more than $1.1million in stakes. He took a lifetime mark of 1.47.4.

He is a three-quarter brother to world champion Dancin Yankee (1.47.4, $2mil).

Lot 125 - A colt by Huntsville from speedy mare Petite Paree (1.54.2, $29K).

Petite Paree is a half-sister to Grand Circuit hero Lochinvar Art (1.48.6, $1.6m), an outstanding youngster which took his career to superstar status as a four-year-old.

At four, he won the Victoria Cup, the Chariots of Fire and Vic Bonanza – and was second in the Miracle Mile.

He won the AG Hunter Cup the following year and has overcome serious injury to race successfully in the US.

This colt’s grandam is a half-sister to iron tough geldings Drunken Desire (1.51.8, $377K), Mind The Wire (1.51.9, $259K) and Zaguar (1.56.9, $121K).

Huntsville has sired 83 winners of more than $4 million in stakes from one crop of 133 foals in Australia.

Lot 129 - A filly by $5million earner McWicked from Courage Under Fire mare Pretty Picture.

McWicked was an incredible performer of US tracks, winning 40 races – including 11 Group Ones.

He was US and Canadian Three-Year-Old Colt of the Year in 2014 and finished his career as the fastest pacing stallion of all time.

The son of Mcardle has kicked off his siring career in fine style with 15 two-year-old winners from his first crop in 2024.

His son Mac Bon has been in scintillating form in the second half of the season, winning three of four starts – including the $100,000 Breeders' Crown Final for two-year-olds last November.

Three of his top six earners in Australia are fillies.

This filly is from the family of champion youngster Slipnslide (1.54.4, $1.1mil) which won nine races as a two-year-old and seven at three, including the Queensland Derby.

At four, he won the Chariots of Fire and went on to a highly successful Grand Circuit campaign.
