Perfect APG record extended
VICTORIAN horsewoman Emma Stewart completed an Australian Pacing Gold hat-trick last night.
Making a trip across the Murray, Stewart captured the Colts' and Geldings' Final at Club Menangle with Dynamitedan to extend her perfect record in the Sales-based series this season.
Last month Stewart secured both Finals in Melton, as well as the two preludes in Bendigo.
Loucasso was too good among the colts/geldings, while Degarmea Teale rounded out the double with a narrow triumph in the Fillies' Final.
"It has been a great series for the stable," Stewart said. "I couldn't be happier with the results, especially for our owners.
"To win the heats and the Finals in Melbourne, then the Final in Sydney is a perfect outcome for all involved."
Runner-up behind A Buck Ten in the prelude upon debut, Dynamitedan reversed the result in the $150,000 decider.
With Luke McCarthy holding the reins, the son of Somebeachsomewhere worked to the lead from barrier six before cruising to a 14-and-a-half metre win.
Bellamys Blast was 10 metres away third as the winner covered the mile in 1:54.3.
"We felt he was the one to beat and he did it quite easily," Stewart said.
