Perfect end to first campaign

CAPPING off her first campaign in perfect fashion, Bettors Creation will head for a spell before being set for another feature series.

Successful upon debut in an Australian Pacing Gold qualifier a fortnight ago, Bettors Creation maintained her unbeaten status by capturing last night's $150,000 Final at Club Menangle.

Thrilled with the filly's progress, trainer Jarrod Alchin has sent Bettors Creation to a paddock for a "short break".

"She has done a huge job to get to where she is," Alchin said. "She's pretty much gone from the breakers to qualifying to winning the APG in one prep.

"I was planning to give her a spell after the breakers when her owner pointed out they just released the dates for the APG race, which was five weeks away, so we pushed on with her.

"I've given her two trials and two races and she has won them all.

"About a month ago it all clicked with her and she hasn't looked back.

"She will head for a spell now though before I get her ready for the Breeders' Challenge."

Driven by Cameron Hart, Bettors Creation led throughout from barrier five to account for Myras Mint and Im No Stranger in 1:55.4 over a mile.
