Power stable dominates in numbers
BAY OF BISCAY

THE strength of Emma Stewart's stable will be on display again this weekend.

Arguably Australasia's most dominant team, Stewart's squad win seemingly at will, including a wide range of features.

And it is far from limited to her home state - Victoria - with majors being won in Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania.

In fact, during the past decade Stewart's three-year-olds have captured an incredible 16 state Derbys, 10 state state Oaks, 12 Breeders' Crown Finals and 15 Sires' Finals.

Stewart's four-year-olds have emerged triumphant in 10 Breeders' Crown Finals, 10 Sires' Finals, three Chariots Of Fires and three Bonanzas.

In 2023, Stewart had two winners in the inaugural $2.1million The Eureka, which she secured with Encipher.

Last season Stewart had three runners in the three and four-year-old slot race, finishing second and third with Bay Of Biscay and High Above.

Stewart's numbers have increased again, with four stars in The Eureka at Club Menangle on Saturday night.

Bay Of Biscay is back in hope of going one better and will be joined by his stablemates Fox Dan, Go Miki and Miki To Success.

Winner of his last three starts, Fox Dan has fared best in barrier five, with Go Miki to come from six - the widest of the three-year-olds.

Bay Of Biscay received gate 11, but slots into nine with the removal of the emergencies, with Miki To Success to come out of 10.

Bay Of Biscay sits at the top of betting markets at $4 with TAB Fixed Odds.
