PROMISING young trotter Reoffender is expected to have little difficulty continuing the impressive start to his career this weekend.

Boasting two wins and a second from three outings, Reoffender is engaged in tomorrow night's Parker Classic at Globe Derby for co-trainers Jill Neilson and Katie Wilson.

Drawn to lead throughout from barrier two, the well-bred gelding is a $1.50 favourite in early markets, with Sunny Majesty considered his main threat at $3.50 from the pole.

"He deserves to be favourite given what he has shown so far, but he still needs to get out there and get the job done," Neilson said. "We are as confident as we can be, which isn't too confident with a two-year-old trotter.

"If he does everything right he will be hard to beat."

Wayne Hill is booked to drive Reoffender, with Wilson to take the reins behind the stable's second stringer, Quartararo.

The gelding has also had three starts, with a third upon debut his best result.

"Quartararo is a nice type in his own right, he's just taking a little longer to find his rhythm," Neilson said.

Following their pending engagement the duo will be aimed at the upcoming Southern Cross series, with a trip across the border also on the cards for Reoffender.

"Hopefully we can squeeze in the Southern Cross and a race in Victoria to try and win his Vicbred bonus before the end of the year," Neilson said.

"For now, we're just focusing on the Parker and Southern Cross, then we'll see how it goes."
