Ready to emulate famous father
LUV THE NITELIFE

UNBEATEN youngster Luv The Nitelife will attempt to emulate one of her father's feats this weekend.

From grand producing mare Kabbalah Karen B, the three-year-old is by former star pacer turned prominent sire, Poster Boy.

Trained by Emma Stewart, Poster Boy won five Group Ones, including the 2018 New South Wales Derby at Club Menangle.

Also prepared by Stewart, Luv The Nitelife will aim for Blue Riband glory at the world class venue when she contests Saturday night's New South Wales Oaks.

The filly qualified for the Group One by capturing the Golden Easter Egg around the 1400-metre circuit on April 12 at her third start.

"She is a very nice filly which we have a pretty reasonable opinion of," Stewart said. "She's a half-sister to Our Little General and Ladies In Red, which won several Group Ones for us and hopefully she can be the next in the family.

"She's only had three starts, but hasn't set a hoof wrong.

"This is going to be a very interesting test for her and we're keen to see how she goes."

To be driven by Kate Gath, Luv The Nitelife has drawn barrier four, with TAB Fixed Odds listing her as the $4.20 second elect.

Soho Americano heads the market at $3.2 from gate three for Michael Stanley.

Stewart will also be represented by Oaks heat placegetters Ivseenheavenslight, Ill Be Gone and Beach Diamond in barriers eight, 10 and 11.

"We were happy with their efforts in the heats and are expecting good runs from them," Stewart said. "The draw hasn't been kind and they will need some luck on the night."
