Remaining confident despite draw
VICTORIAN trainer David Miles remains confident with Rockinwithattitude ahead of Saturday night's assignment despite an awkward draw.
Fresh from her success in The Great Square at Albion Park a fortnight ago, Rockinwithattitude will return to the same venue for the Queensland Trotters' Cup.
Pitted against a strong assembly of open class performers, Rockinwithattitude faces an early obstacle from barrier six.
"It's not an ideal draw and certainly makes the task that much more difficult," Miles said. "The worry from there is getting caught wide and having to go back.
"Hopefully she can slot into a handy position early and get a good run through."
To be driven by Miles, the daughter of Aldebaran Eagle is on the third line of betting at $7 with TAB Fixed Odds, with in-form local, Gus, a hot $1.60 favourite.
Winner of his last five starts for trainer Chantal Turpin, Gus will begin from barrier five.
London To A Brick splits the pair at $6 from gate 10.
"Gus is low flying and is clearly the one to beat," Miles said. "He's also got a draw advantage on us.
"I'm as confident as I can be with her...she's in perfect condition and ready to go, now it's a matter of what kind of run she gets."
