Striking individual from first crop
FOLLOWING our report on the first progeny by The Storm Inside to hit the sales' ring, there is another stallion whose 'kids' will make their sale debut in a fortnight.
Just to recap, Lot One at Australian Pacing Gold's Yearling Sale in Queensland is a magnificent colt complete with Cary Grant looks.
A flashy dark brown which has been described as having a faultless conformation, 'Cary' boasts a white sock and star.
From broodmare gem Laugh Out Loud, the yearling has a strong APG affiliation via The Storm Inside.
Winner of his first 11 starts, The Storm Inside's early victories include a clean sweep of the 2016 APG race series.
With his career halted by injury, The Storm Inside was retired to stud with an imposing record of 16 wins and two seconds from 19 starts for earnings of $311,125.
At the opposite end of the catalogue is an equally striking colt by Mcwicked, which has nine youngsters from his first crop ready to be sold.
Mcwicked, which was retired as the world's richest pacing stallion, will be represented by seven colts and two fillies.
As for Lot 36, the athletic looking individual has a white blaze and a white back legs.
The second foal from Ideal Ava, Lot 36 comes from a long line of winners.
Mcwicked's other sons will enter the ring as Lots 11, 12, 19, 24, 30 and 33, with his daughters Lots 25 and 35.
HOOFNOTE: Lot One's half-brother, Big Bozz, will make his debut at Albion Park tomorrow.
