Western outguns rivals in feature
CLASSY pacer Wild Wild Western zipped to the front and never had an anxious moment as he cruised to victory in last night’s feature at The Meadows.
Although Wlld Wild Western had several strong performance this year, including a pair of chegues in Graduate series legs, he was winless from four 2020 starts.
The son of Western Ideal changed that arithmetic when he seated Real Peace before downing him by a neck in 1:51.4 for reinsman Mike Wilder.
Former Australian Mister Spot raced well first over for show.
Norm Parker trains Wild Wild Western, which has vaulted over $200,000 in earnings, for Jacobs Creek Racing, Andrew Altobelli and John Deters.
Wilder finished the 15-race card with four wins, including a pair for trainer Dan Altmeyer, while Dan Rawlings fashioned a three-bagger.
